Customer Happiness Specialist Job Summary:

Our continually growing business is looking for a friendly, grounded, and well-spoken Customer Happiness Specialist to join our Support Team. We need an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who can listen to customers and then offer a unique and hand crafted solution to each problem.

The top candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of customer relations via phone calls, emails, messenger, and live chat.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responding to customers’ inquiries in a thoughtful, concise, and timely fashion
  • Personalizing the customer experience and going the extra mile in order to make a lasting impression on the customer
  • Carry out tasks such as: creating, modifying, and updating orders; carrying out refund and return requests. 
  • Answering and returning phone calls 
  • Live Chat response during business hours 
  • Help new and existing affiliates with troubleshooting their Affiliatly account
  • Tune into and observe possible trends that the customers are reporting and report to the Support Manager
  • Provide constructive feedback and improvements at bi-weekly support meetings
  • Positively impact Real Mushrooms by intelligently problem-solving and turning disgruntled clients into repeat customers

Job Requirement Skills:

  • 1 to 2 years of customer service (e-commerce a plus!)
  • Highly proficient and attuned to using Google Drive, Reamaze, Grasshopper or other helpdesk type software, Shopify, 3PL Logistics software, Amazon Seller Central and Slack 
  • Ability to remain calm and to have a professional attitude with customers at all times
  • Very comfortable on the phone speaking with customers
  • Ability to problem solve proficiently and gather any required information before answering customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferably in or within a 3 hour window of PST working hours
  • Available to work for 4 hours on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Bonus if you have experience with ReCharge or other subscription platforms

Work Schedule

  • Monday – Wednesday: 9am-5pm
  • Thursday: 4 consecutive hours during the day (optional)
  • Friday: Off
  • Saturday: 4 consecutive hours during the day
  • Sunday: 4 consecutive hours during the day

Schedule is flexible but we are looking for someone to work 30-40 hours per week with 4 hours on Saturday and Sunday to handle weekend support volume.
